Training

Welcome to Primary Care Training Page

Primary Care have our own in house Training Coordinator, who as well as developing and delivering training, offers advice and support on a variety of training issues from induction to continuing professional development.

We believe that every team member is important. We work hard to ensure the whole team feel valued, appreciated for the work they do and are fully equipped to carry out their duties.

We never underestimate the importance of training, development and supervision, which leads to a motivated, highly skilled team, who are dedicated in offering the highest level of support to our service users.

There is a dedicated staff liaison worker within our operations team who is able to offer additional guidance and support from interview stage through the first three months of employment.

All Primary Care Team Members receive a full induction training package (certificated) which includes:

Safe moving and handling, Protection of vulnerable adults, Communication, Food Hygiene, Medication, First Aid and Role of the worker.

The teams development does not end here. You will have the option to enroll on QCF (qualification & certification framework) after the first 6 months of employment.

Team members are all offered job specific training, frequently mentored and supported by a coordinator who will meet with you to have regular supervisions, each member will also have an annual appraisal and be directly observed at work.

Primary Care also carry out service user and team meetings regulary.
