Here at Primary Care we understand the importance of creating a positive and productive culture to ensure everyone involved with us feels valued and respected. To ensure the excellent work practices with in our organisation were formally recorded we worked with the team to create our very own unique 12 points of culture and mission statement that reflect who we are, what we do, and what we together strive to achieve.

To us this is not just a job; we are a passionate team of caring people. Highly respected for our people first attitude everyone in the Primary Care team has one thing in common….we genuinely care. We all work within our 12 points of culture to provide the highest quality care and support which is delivered by a long standing team who have a genuine desire to be the best we can be.
We understand that everyone is unique and has different needs. We are dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each of the people we serve. We provide care and support for vulnerable individuals including older people, adults and young people with disabilities and mental health issues, enabling them to live the life they wish by offering choice and control.
People who use us are looking for reliable, consistent, flexible services that will give them peace of mind and an improved quality of life. Regardless of age or ability they will have a desire for us to help them achieve greater independence. They expect, what we deliver, a safe, high quality, service delivered by a friendly, trustworthy team.
We are an independent owner managed company who have personally developed robust systems to ensure that we offer exceptional standards of excellence, value for money and a service which will always be provided with the personal touch that our customers have come to expect. I am responsible for my actions and the outcomes of my actions. I understand that my actions will affect others and the service I offer. I know that for things to improve and change, first I must look at myself to see what changes are needed
Team work….
I am a friendly, respectful team member who is honest and I actively contribute. I am respectful of the whole team and appreciate everyone I work alongside. I actively work towards achieving the team goal. I am flexible and effective in my work and recognise when I need to change what I am doing to achieve a better outcome for everyone. I am always diplomatic, cooperative and strive for solutions, not problems. I ask for help if I need it, I listen to and support others whenever I can, and make work fun.
Enjoyment and balance…..
I enjoy my work. I have a good work life balance. I understand that work is a tool to allow me to enjoy a quality of life. I always complete my work and look at my most important tasks first so I can have quality time to myself and give myself time to relax. I believe life should be enjoyed to the full.
Communication…..
I speak positively about, team members, the people I support and Primary Care both in public and private at all times. I take full responsibility for how I communicate to others and my responses. I have high standards of confidentiality I share information correctly appropriately and as necessary. I only discuss concerns in private with the person involved and I always apologise for any upsets and I look towards finding workable solutions for all parties.
Consistency….
I believe consistency is vital to the delivery of a quality service .I am always consistent in my approach and actions so that the people who use our services and team members feel secure and comfortable when dealing with me at all times.
Respect….
I am always respectful in the way I provide services. I use non discriminatory work practices. I carry out all my duties to the best of my ability with empathy, dignity, respect, and professionalism ensuring the people who use our services are at the heart of everything I do and have total choice and control over the service I offer.
Integrity…
I always speak the truth. I always think before I say I can do something, and only make promises that I intend to deliver. If I am unable to do this I always communicate this respectfully and within appropriate timescales. I am always punctual and prepared for work.
Education……
I am willing to apply the skills I already have, I am keen to develop and learn new skills to improve myself and the team. I
believe making mistakes is part of my learning and that each mistake must be learned from and not repeated. I will recognise when I need support and ask for help I will actively help and encourage my fellow team members to maintain and develop their skills.
Systems …..
I am responsible for following Primary Care’s systems, policies and procedures. I always follow the systems that are in place until a new system is introduced. I constantly look for improvements to systems that I record and share them with the team in order to improve working practices and increase the quality of the service we provide.
Gratitude…..
