One of peoples  biggest concern’s is “How will I pay for the care I need”

We understanding how daunting it can be to find out if you are entitled to financial assistance; fill out the paper work and to arrange to receive this funding.

Self Directed Support

Essex County Council have introduced Self Directed Support also known as Personal Budgets. The information in this link will be able to provide answers to the Questions you may have.

Funding for Carers

If you are over 18 and caring for someone with out being paid you are classed as an  informal carer  and may be entitled to Carers allowance. The quickest way to find out is to fill out  a self assessment form.

Disabled Facilities Grant 

Disabled Facilities Grant is a local council grant to help towards the cost of adapting your home to enable you to continue to live there. It is paid when the council considers that changes are necessary to meet your needs, and that the work is reasonable and practical
